We all spend too much time on our phones and don't connect in real life. 
Nobody wants to go out and meet people and when they do they are still on their phones.

Media industries operate within a structure that produces a reinforces the dominant ideology via a consensual 'world view'.
This world view is produced predominantly by white middle class, middle aged heterosexual men.
It is their ideas and values that infiltrate media texts and ensure that other voices do not get heard.

Loyalty and friendship - Ed and Aaron 
Morality - Aaron paid off Michelle's debt 
Ed's inbuilt sense of right/justice - goes to save the baby, dies a hero 

Ben Drew's message through the film 
This world can corrupt you - people aren't born bad 
It is the fault of the system - the government and its policies who don't support these people. 
Adults destroy the kids future.
